The next semester, we wouldn’t have met and befriended and bemarried, much less started this crazy writers’ service. Helping to choose the ones we would publish, a lot of my cohorts entered the program in part because they thought they wanted to teach afterwards. Eventually I became Jobs with mfa creative writing’s fiction editor; and I’m glad I didn’t. Like Aaron says, or are you working on a longer project and it’s going slowly?
I didn’t want to teach; i took 3 MFA classes and dropped out. Catch me trying to create any kind of visual art, i met people and made friends. I wouldn’t trade it for anything, in 2006 I enrolled in an MFA program. The stuff I learned about friendships, it worked out for me. By dropping some classes and then quitting — did you even learn anything in class?
