This Is What Fall Looks Like To Me

Over on The SITS Girls they are doing daily writing prompts and today they want to see pictures of fall.  And hey have I got those.  I’d go out and take a picture in my yard, but there aren’t really any trees in my yard and honestly there isn’t too much fall leaf changing just yet here in CT.  That’s not to say it’s not happening, it’s just early in the season give it a week or two and I’ll have a ton of great fall foliage pictures.

So for now you’ll have to deal with some blasts from the past from me so to speak.  Pictures of what fall means to me.

This was our pumpkin picking adventure in 2009. We try to do this every year.

My son’s birthday is the day after Halloween, mine is two days after so Fall has always meant birthdays.

And of course Trick of Treating (don’t mind the teary boy, it was a long day of partying).

Gotta do some apple picking in the fall.

Let me tell you, growing up in the North East and then going to college in the south, this had to have been the biggest adjustment when I was in college.  Not seeing all of the changing leaves which I love.  My mom had to send me leaves from home which I posted around my dorm room so I would feel a little more in the spirit of the season.  It’s a good thing I got to go home for Christmas because that would have been even stranger.

What does fall look like for you?
